A Post-Thanksgiving Wake-up call starring the Turkey Asteroid

Frugal Dad did the work and invited anyone to embed this useful infographic about the consolidation of the American food industry. It’s yet another reason to help a place like the South Philly Food Co-op come into existence and thrive. Enjoy… and learn.

One Response to A Post-Thanksgiving Wake-up call starring the Turkey Asteroid

  1. Dan Pohlig says:

Our 12 pound turkey came from Koch’s Turkeys in Tamaqua, PA. Got it through Greensgrow who said it was antibiotic, hormone and stimulant free and was fed an all natural vegetarian diet. These turkeys meet strict humane guidelines and welfare standards for turkeys, which I presume means they’re at least not confined to spaces so tight they can’t even move. (Guess I’ll have to visit Koch’s one of these years… and I can… because it’s fewer than 90 miles away.)
